When is PDF to image useful?

Converting a PDF to images is helpful when you need to embed pages in a presentation, share a page as a social media image, or import content into an editor that does not support PDF files.

Choosing a DPI

Higher DPI values produce larger, sharper images. Lower values create smaller files that load faster on the web. For most screen use, 72–150 DPI is sufficient. For print, 300 DPI is the common standard.

PDF to image FAQ

How many pages can I convert?
QuakeStar supports PDFs with up to 200 pages. Larger documents should be split first.
Are the images zipped?
Yes. Because most PDFs have multiple pages, the output images are packaged into a single ZIP file for easy download.
Will text remain selectable?
No. Once a page is converted to an image, the text becomes part of the picture and is no longer selectable or searchable.
