How page ranges work
Enter the pages you want to keep as separate files. Each range becomes its own PDF inside the ZIP archive. For example, entering 1-5, 8, 10-12 produces three files.
Common uses
- Extract one chapter from a long document.
- Separate a scanned batch into individual files.
- Pull out specific pages to send by email.
PDF splitter FAQ
- Can I split every page into its own file?
- Yes. Enter each page as its own range, like
1, 2, 3, 4, or use 1-N if you want ranges of one page each.
- What if I enter a page number that does not exist?
- The tool validates the ranges against the PDF page count before processing and will reject invalid input.
- Are the original pages removed from the PDF?
- This tool extracts the selected ranges into new files. It does not modify or delete your original PDF.
